Blog Of The Year 2012

29 Dec

I was recently presented with the Blog Of The Year 2012 Award. Thank you Nick of Talkin’ Shit. It’s a real honor. Please go check out his blog. Real life stories, some funny, some unbelievable, especially those “DOW” (Douche Of The Week) ones.

The ‘rules’ for this award are simple:

1 Select the blog(s) you think deserve the ‘Blog of the Year 2012’ Award

2 Write a blog post and tell us about the blog(s) you have chosen – there’s no minimum or maximum number of blogs required – and ‘present’ them with their award.

3 Please include a link back to this page ‘Blog of the Year 2012’ Award – The Thought Palette
and include these ‘rules’ in your post (please don’t alter the rules or the badges!)

4 Let the blog(s) you have chosen know that you have given them this award and share the ‘rules’ with them

5 You can now also join our Facebook group – click ‘like’ on this page ‘Blog of the Year 2012’ Award Facebook group and then you can share your blog with an even wider audience

6 As a winner of the award – please add a link back to the blog that presented you with the award – and then proudly display the award on your blog and sidebar … and start collecting stars…

I only have 1 star so far. Much appreciated.

I now nominate these blogs for this award as well.

Thoughts From The Outdoors – David writes poetry of the fascinating outdoors. Wonderful nature photography as well.

Vittle Monster – Vicente does reviews of restaurants in the San Francisco area. I love how he not only reviews the food and ambience, but also posts photos of quirky stuff around the restaurant. Nice!

Voices In His Head – Marcus writes funny stories and observations about daily life and his family. He has written a book. And I always HAVE TO read at the end of each post how he would shamelessly (kidding! Lol!) promote his books.

Living For The Next Meal – Sweet Nimmie cooks! She has some wonderful healthy and simple recipes in her blog. Do check them out.

The Phoblography – Dave’s awesome photo blog! Nice photos of England. And such a clever name of the blog too.

sixpuns – Clever, witty, humorous. Yes, “groan inducing” puns in every post. Love it!!

greetings from england – Lovely blog by Hibiscus Rosa Noor. “Chatterings of an easterner in the western world”.

Thank you!

-hazrock, yeay!

Thanks for the nod of approval! I didn’t think anyone noticed those little one line plugs. Perhaps I need to work on a more carefully hidden subliminal messaging system. I’ll do that. Ok, now I’m off to visit the other blogs you noted. Thanks again! BUY MY BOOKS — that attempt did not work.
