Still Got The Blues

10 Sep

All photos in this post are not mine and grabbed from Google Search.

This post is a continuation from the previous. Why? Because I came to realization that I ate a lot of snacks when I was a kid. There were a lot of favorites! So here goes!

20120910-200835.jpg
Jelly or “Jell-O” in mini cups.

20120910-200915.jpg
Yan Yan. Long thin biscuits in a cup with a little compartment of melted chocolate for dipping.

20120910-201021.jpg
Gem Biscuits. My ritual is always to bite off the hard icing on top. Then eat the biscuit.

20120910-201140.jpg
White Rabbit Candy. After peeling off the wrapper, there is another thin wrapper stuck to the candy. Don’t get a nervous breakdown trying to get that off. Just eat the candy with that thin wrapper. Apparently it’s edible. Or not? Gee, if it’s not supposed to be consumed, my stomach must be full with undigested paper. Eeuuwww!

20120910-201546.jpg
Ice Pops. Bought at room temperature, then freeze when you get home. Refreshing!

Fish Snack. Chewy, delicious and err… fishy!

I remember people calling it “air batu Malaysia”. Heheheh. My late maternal granny used to make this and sell it right from her freezer at her kampung home in Kaki Bukit. Way way back!
