Zen Moments

31 Aug

Japanese food always make me feel virtuous. They are naturally healthy. I mean, seriously. Except for sumo wrestlers, have you ever seen an overweight Japanese? Hardly! So maybe we all can learn from them how to eat better and not to stuff ourselves with so much junk.

My son, Razin, has always loved conveyor belt sushi since he was in preschool (he’s 11 now). We went to Hei Sushi for a date. Oh yeah! Come to me, lovely sushi!

I love Ebi Tempura! Love its presentation.

We shared a Black Pepper Chicken Don with Miso Soup

My favourite Chawanmushi (steamed egg in a cup) and Edamame Beans.

Razin’s must-haves. Fried Tofu and Soba Noodles.

Of course we picked some plates of the sushi on the belt. No photos because I’m too busy eating. Lol!
And I had completely forgotten that I wanted to eat a hot bowl of ramen noodles. Oh well, some other time. Burp! Excuse me.
