Finally, we are at the end of the Muslim fasting month of Ramadhan. Underneath the anticipation and festivities of the arrival of Syawal (Eid), an undeniable feeling of sadness crept in as the blessed month left us. Ramadhan, until we meet again next year.

Right now, on the eve of Eid, I am still doing bits and pieces of spring cleaning. I know, I should have done this a week ago.

I can pretty much say I am ready for this joyous occasion. Hey! At least the goodies for guests are ready!

It is just our Malay culture when celebrating, to have small canisters of Eid goodies ready on the table for visiting guests.

Muruku Chips, an Indian snack

Cheetos-like Tapioca snacks

I would like to take this opportunity to wish all my Muslim friends and followers Eid Mubarak! Or as we say it in Malay, Selamat Hari Raya Aidilfitri. Maaf Zahir Batin.

    You are a really nice family member to be making all these treats for everyone!! 🙂 I would just have both hands in separate jars, I would be that excited lol.

      Thanks Nimmie! I only made 3 of those goodies. The rest are store bought or given. 😉 Maybe I should have mentioned that. I may have misled people into thinking I’m a super cook! Haha!!
