As promised in my previous post, I made a different version of the Chocolate Cornflakes. These are Honey Cornflakes. While the former just needed to set in their little cups, these required a little baking.
Don’t they look adorable? And so easy to make. I googled the recipe but in the end I just did my own, going by eye. Butter, brown sugar and honey are melted over the stove or microwave. Then poured over the slightly crushed cornflakes. You can add nuts if you want. I added toasted slivers of almonds. Then mix and teaspoon them into tiny cups. Bake at 160 (Celsius) for about 8 mins.
You’ll know if you had done this properly when after they baked and cooled, the honey cornflakes clumped together.
