Coming Home

01 Jul

I live quite close to my parents (about 10-15mins drive or about half hour by public bus). So I make it a point to visit them every Sunday. Of course they are happy to have the clattering din of their grandkids around them.

And my mom will always cook up a storm on Sundays. And today was no different! Wow!

Ok let’s take a peek at what’s hidden in those pots!

Tapioca shoots and sweet potato in coconut gravy

Squids in spicy chilli sauce

Sambal Goreng, my favourite.

Beef Rendang

Urap, a salad

Put it all together and what I have is a happy plate. And a happier tummy. I am almost grateful I didn’t eat breakfast. Yeay!

Burp! Excuse me. Time to slump on the sofa. Nap time kids! Or just me. Hehe!
