This is what I need to end the work week. And I ended it with a bang. BBQ Stingray is among those few dishes which you MUST try if you come to Singapore. And better if you dine under the stars on a cool night. Or by the beach at East Coast Park. Ahh. Bliss..
The stingray is placed on a piece of banana leaf, then doused in a spicy chilli sauce and barbecued to perfection. Then serve it with a squeeze of lime, cincalok (a fermented fish sauce), rice and a side dish of vegetables fried in belachan (shrimp paste). And that’s what it all about. Hey!
