It has been a few years since I rode on a roller coaster or thrill ride. Love the adrenaline I get even while lining up to wait for my turn. And get strapped to the seat, the anticipation as the coaster is climbing up. When it gets to the top, I would realize, hey, I don’t want to ride this. Get me off. But it’s already the point of no return. And suddenly, WHOOSH! The coaster plunged down and me screaming myself hoarse. Oh wow! What a rush!
A couple of trips to America in the late 90s had been quite fruitful. I would have gone on an all-theme-park vacation if I wanted to. Here are some of my favorite coasters from the trips.
Superman The Escape at Six Flags Magic Mountain
Viper at Six Flags Magic Mountain
Goliath at Six Flags Magic Mountain
Batman The Ride at Six Flags Magic Mountain. Love the way my feet hanged in the air as I tumbled through
Indiana Jones Ride at Disneyland
And who says you must gamble to have fun in Las Vegas? It’s coasters all the way for me!
High Roller on top of The Stratosphere Tower in Las Vegas
Manhattan Express in New York New York Hotel in Las Vegas
Also, a trip to Gold Coast Australia got me some rides too!
Corkscrew at Sea World, Gold Coast, Australia
Wipeout at Dreamworld, Gold Coast, Australia
And closer to home is Supersonic Odyssey at Berjaya Times Square in KL, Malaysia. A cool coaster inside a mall.
-hazrock, not a hair out of place in those roller coaster snapshots.
