Lunch on a typical work day. Most of the time I try not to spend too much. I mean, it’s just me eating. Wait till Ramadhan, the Muslim fasting month, comes in a couple of months. I would spend $0 on lunch. Save a lot huh? Yeah, as long as I don’t go walking around a mall during lunch time and “accidentally” buy stuff. That would be bad.
As the name suggests, this kind of meal doesn’t break the bank. Basically you are given a portion of rice, and they have a huge array of meat and vegetable dishes to choose from. You can be creative by mixing and matching. This is my favourite combo. Sweet and sour chicken, stir fried beans and tofu discs. Costing less than US$3, it’s very economical because the portion is quite huge! And if you and your friend are small eaters, both of you can share this one meal. Hey! Not bad!
