Intricacies of Origami

11 May

A few months ago, I was at a transition phase in my life and had a lot of time to spare. I started to delve into the fascinating world of origami or paper folding. I enjoyed them immensely! These days I wish I have more time (and energy!) to fold papers again. It is quite a relaxing hobby. And whenever I get the end result, especially those intricate ones, it gave me a huge sense of satisfaction. Like a job well done.
I went to YouTube for origami tutorials. Some of my favorite origamians (if that is even a word. Lol!) are happypuppytruffles, ezorigami and happyfolding. Here are some of the interesting models I’ve tried folding. And once again, photos taken using an iPhone 4.

Yes they are! I’m always amazed how the designers came up with an origami design. Must be a lot of folding! šŸ™‚

I did simple origami with my kids too. But most of the time the paper will turn into a giant ball of mess! Lol. These models are, i think, as far as I can go on difficulty. There are others more complicated which I’m too scared to attempt.

lol.. um well, grumpy mornings may be the best time for humour, depending on who it’s coming from. Ellen always puts me in a better mood šŸ™‚ even when I’m lethal grumpy.

Ahh Ellen! America’s sweetheart! I’ve been a fan since her sitcom “Ellen” days, while she was still in the closet! Haha
